DARLA HIMELES is the author of the chapbook Flesh Enough (Get Fresh Books, 2017). She is a PhD candidate in American literature at Temple University, where she is also the assistant director of the university's writing center. She lives in Philadelphia with her wife, daughter, and two orange cats.
From Darla: "I'm excited to help raise a platform for marginalized voices, for the lyric turn, for tenderness, and laughter, and rage too. I love surprising metaphor, embodied experience, specificity, observation and celebration of the natural world, and sensory engagement (lemon juice on the tongue, white birch bark to the cheek, the sizzle of flame between fingertips)."
