The Platform Review is a literary journal focused on publishing quality literature from emerging and established writers. Founded in 2016, The Platform Review publishes one print journal annually. The Platform Review also runs an annual chapbook contest, which selects two chapbooks (one poetry and one prose) for publication. Guidelines to submit: We do not accept previously published writing. Please include a third-person 50 word bio within your cover letter. If a poem, story, or essay is accepted at another journal please notify use immediately through Submittable.

Poetry: Submit up to 5 poems in one document, one poem per page, and no more than 10 pages total.

Fiction: Submit one story up to 5,000 words.

Creative Nonfiction: Submit one essay up to 5,000 words.

The Platform Review accepts submissions exclusively through our online submission manager Submittable. A $3 reading fee applies.

If your piece is chosen, we hold first North American serial rights to publish and print your piece in our annual review. When the piece is published, the rights revert back to author.
