The Platform presents New Jersey's own, Chris Rockwell. Chris is a spoken word poet and hip-hop artist from the Jersey Shore. The very first Grand Slam Champion of the legendary Loser Slam, Rockwell has since competed in the National Poetry Slam twice, toured the country, was named Poet Laureate of Asbury Park in 2010, and even went on to be co-founder of the Jersey Shore Poetry Slam. He has published several volumes of music and poetry, his latest being his collection of poetry, entitled True Romantic Loser, which was published 
in October of 2018.
