November 21st, 2026 at the Madison Community Arts Center in Madison, NJ.

ARTS By The People’s 2026 Artist in Residence, Kelly Guerrero, will present a contemporary dance performance exploring memory and grief, accompanied by original poetry and music. The work will reflect the evolving experience of grieving while ultimately offering a sense of collective care and hope.

During summer 2026, several local poets participated in a Writing LAB workshop where they watched excerpts of the dance performance in development and created new pieces of poetry. These works will be featured in the performance.

The performance will be followed by a discussion with artists who collaborated on the project.
